CUTTING EDGE

Besides being serrated or smooth the cutting edge of a tooth can be further broken down
by it's "degree of completeness". Most reference material and this website will use three
different "degrees of completeness" when describing a cutting edge.

	Partial Restricted to the top portion of the crown.   Hemipristis serra
	Near complete Extends over most but not the entire length of the crown.   Carcharias cuspidata
	Complete Extends over the complete length of the crown.   Scapanorhynchus texanus
