Saturdays trip to Inversand sponsored by Friends of the New Jersey State
Museum meet with temperatures in the mid 90's. A surprising number of
people stuck out the high temperatures and dug to the bitter end.
If you have never been before, just seeing New Jersey's last working marl
pit alone is worth the trip.
