A recent trip turned up this rather unusual looking pathological tooth. Just one of the many little quirks that Mother Nature tends to produce from time to time.
 

 

One of the more unusual pathological teeth I've seen.
 

 

 

Pathological teeth are usually the result of feeding damage to the tooth
 when it is immature and still soft; as the tooth matures it becomes
 deformed as a result of the initial damage.
